I'm really impressed with your writing skills as well as with the layout on your weblog. Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself? Either way keep up the nice quality writing, it’s rare to see a great blog like this one these days..

I remember staying up late as kid in the '80s waiting eagerly to see another Van Halen video or Yo! MTV Raps. I miss the days of Adam Curry, Dr. Dre and Ed Lover. Advertising revenue makes the world go round for the networks. Concepts like Tila must have started pulling better sponsors than the collective top 40 MTV artists...although that's hard to imagine. My guess is that it's all about delivering a certain audience or demographic at a certain time. Today I can get my fix of Diamond Dave with a few mouse clicks, or finger swipes, depending on the device.
Maybe the advent of Google TV will bring about a renaissance in music television channels. It'd basically be like creating your own Fillmore and having Leonard Cohen, or Axel, or Heavy D on demand. Maybe Musicwire TV should play that role...we should talk :-)
